Jan 06, 2014 Chameleon will appear, select your iAtkos install drive, and type -v to boot in verbose mode. After a moment, the OSX installer should appear. Trackpad will not work so plug in a usb mouse.

Okay so I installed this on my PC (in an external hard drive) and when I booted it up it worked. But every few times I reboot the computer, the computer doesn’t start up anymore (the fan spins, but nothing is working, not even the BIOS) and I have to clear my CMOS memory by taking apart the computer and removing the motherboard battery for a few minutes every time to make the PC work again. My specs are: HP Pavilion a6452.it AMD Phenom 9500 quad-core running at 2.2ghz (supports 64-bit) 3GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT with 512MB VRAM ASUS NARRA3 motherboard Please help me!!! A friend of mine is converting my PC based Intel board over to MAC. He was able to install the 10.5 version and it worked fine until I updated the OS. He’s now trying to get Snow Leopard 10.6 on the machine.
It installed ok but was having problems with the ethernet card not connecting to the internet and we replace the card and its seems to be working but the big problem is not all the USB’as are working. The mouse and keyboard work fine but when plugging in like an ipod or external devise it doesn’t work. He said something about seat belt isn’t working properly but we both have looked and havn’t seen anything to fix the issue.any ideas of what to do? I’ve replaced the hard drive with a new one so there is no issues with the old MAC os interferring.
I would just like to point out that osx86 island was not the first to get snow to work, I was just the first to post a decent tutorial on it. The people on the osx hu irc (godly people, very awesome crew for putting up with me) – and the people at insanelymac (where I met ridgeline) were the core behind it all. Of course, you cant make mention of an osx86 anything without mentioning netkas, who, while reluctant to help (he’s not to blame, about a million people bombard him with questions every day) is an amazing impact on osx86 in just about every category.

Awesome thread though, keep it up! Hopefully you can provide the support that I currently cannot! I am trying to do this, but keep failing at the DSDT.aml patching section. Here’s my environment: I downloaded a VMWare image of Leopard and it runs great. No problems so far. I connect a second harddrive with a USB adaqpter, Leopard sees it right away, I partition it and begin following these steps.
