Jun 03, 2008  I use OpenServer 5.0.6 on several systems and under VMware. I recently found out that my original CD is damaged. Statistik teori dan aplikasi ebook torrents. When installing under VMware I now get 'bad magic.

Hello everybody. I have been trying to install SCO OpenServer 5.0.4 in VMWare, VirtualBox and MESS without success. At first the installation starts OK, until I get to the part where the files should be copied, but I get a 'System error 2'. Searching a bit, I have discovered that the ISO we have here is not correct (files such as VOL.000.000 are renamed as VOL_000.000, probably due to the ISO not being original, but 'built' from the individual files).

This (the wrong naming of files) happens with 5.0.4 and 5.0.5 at least (haven't tried the other versions we have here). So I tried to rename the files inside the ISO, and now I get 'System error 20'. I have searched high and low, but haven't found any reference to that error code. So I'm stumped If anyone knows what that error means, or better yet, can get correct ISOs of those CDs, it would be great Greetings!

To Krishna, Since I last installed EFS 5.48 on May 10th my Bootpgw messages only seem to start on Fridays had 3 so far and 1 on Thursdday. The only way I could stop the messages was to reboot the machine. In regards to the inetd.conf file my VSIFAX program added that your line that you commented out 'bootps dgram udp wait root /etc/bootpd bootpd' a very long time ago. After reading up on the bootpwg I added the following lines to the inetd.conf file as well and maybe this is why I'm getting the messages popping up on Fridays now vs. Everyday in the past. 'bootps dgram udp wait root /etc/bootpd bootpd bootptab' and 'bootps dgram udp wait root /etc/bootpgw bootpgw server' I try commenting them all out and see how that does. Also, can you tell me how to increase the bootpd search time.

Thanks for your help.
