The cover art and the two 'Bard's Songs' gave the band its nickname 'The Bards'.

The use of the nickname has been also extended to the fans of the group, Circle of the Bards being the now defunct fan club and Hansi frequently calling the fans Bards. 12:14 - 'Funny' thing about Sunnata and SYC is that I saw SYC and Stoned Jesus at a fest last year and Im seeing Sunnata and Weedpecker at the same fest this year 11:48 - This is so God awful it's actually hilarious [] 10:39 - Old Nick's Top-30 For 2018. [] 02:03 - Couldn't get into it, something just didn't click. Ditto for Stoned Jesus, keeping within that eastern scene (quite the unexpected source for stoner/doom bands) 01:38 - haha i reviewed that album, I like it, but discovered it at the same time as sunnata and have listened to that band a fair bit more 01:10 - Apoth: a really chill listen, that one. Bought both albums off of Bandcamp after someone recced that here in the SB. 23:42 - Obed Marsh, that eerie Lovecraft doom / black with sick vocals, is out now in full [].

Written by on at 08:34 I can't believe Stormlord - Supreme Art of War is only 836! I personally would rate it higher - maybe 835. I think 834 would be too much though, especially as I agree with Golden Resurrection - Man With a Mission at 834. But then what do you do with Excalion - High Time? Maybe MS admin could adjust it so that both Stormlord and Excalion are 835 and we just skip 836.

I mean you change one rating and it could screw the whole algorithm. Are you being serious or are you making fun of me?

What is everybody's problem with the length of this list here!?! I understand that stormlord77 actually made the effort of putting 10% of his PM collection into an order from 1 to 850. This is earns my full respect. Hard work if taken seriously! Actually, I have done a similar approach when putting my favourite metal songs across all genres and time into an order. As for today, I have come to 1,200 songs [and I am being serious here].

This list is subject to countinuous change, whenever I am in the mood and find some time. An excerpt of it can be found on MS. Anyways, while I cannot really comment on the content of stormlord77's list since I dont know most of the albums listed (although I find many of my favourite PM albums at pretty low ranks), I want to say that I find it totally acceptable that a list that long is displayed here. That said, the list has the appropriate title now -- it is a list of favourites -- it should neither be considered a snapshot nor a list of highlights or must-haves! Ps: You also have my full respect for answering all these (partly pretty annoying and repetitve) comments here. Written by on at 23:44 What is everybody's problem with the length of this list here!?!
