With the recent release of the English Patch for Touhou 10.5 ~ Scarlet Weather Rhapsody's stand-alone expansion pack, Touhou 12.3 ~ Hisoutensokou, I decided to make this little tutorial for the game on referencing Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and importing card data from Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. -Referencing Scarlet Weather Rhapsody- 1. Look for the 'configex123.txt' file in the Hisoutensokou directory. Open that file and look for the this variable: [th105path] path= ^This is where you will reference Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. Now go into your Scarlet Weather Rhapsody directory. Now what you do is click around the empty area of the folder's address line (think of it as an URL on an internet browser). This will give a URL-like line that will reference the location of your Scarlet Weather Rhapsody game in your computer.

You should see something like this: ': Program Files tasfroSWR ' -OR- ': Scarlet Weather Rhapsody ' If you're one a 64-bit OS, the game may have been installed under ': Program Files (x86) tasfroSWR ' 3. Go back to the 'configex123.txt' file in your Hisoutensokou directory and paste the referencing line next to the equal sign in the early mentioned variable and save the text file. If these steps are done correctly, you should now see the entire roster from Scarlet Weather Rhapsody in Hisoutensokou when you play the game. -Importing Spellcards from Scarlet Weather Rhapsody- NOTE: You may want to make back-up copies of Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and UNL before attempting this process and before playing Hisoutensokou. Normally, referencing Scarlet Weather Rhapsody will NOT carry over your Spellcards into Hisoutensokou. However, there is a way that you can import them. Take all of the contents of Scarlet Weather Rhapsody (executable, data, etc.) and Copy and Paste/Move them into the Hisoutensokou directory (or vice-versa).

Now delete the 'score123.dat' from the directory (or move it somewhere where the game can't read it), NOT the 'score.dat' since that is the save data of Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. Once its gone, run Hisoutensokou and check your cards.

Story A peculiar sight can be seen in the distance: a mysterious dark giant is wandering around Gensokyo. It has the ability to suddenly appear and vanish without a trace. The denizens that see this become curious as to what this strange visage might be. Among them, three girls, Sanae Kochiya, Cirno and Hong Meiling have especially strong theories and fears as to what the giant is: Sanae seems to think the figure is a giant robot as described in an old anime, Cirno thinks it to be the great Youkai Daidarabocchi, which she believes, if dominated, will make others her more seriously, and Hong Meiling believes the shadow to be the Buddha of Misfortune, 'Taisuei Shengjun', an evil god that came to pass judgement on the denizens of Gensokyo.

They each set out, and their adventures take them through many trials, ever closer to unveiling the true identity of the black behemoth. The enemies faced use spellcards, and do not flinch when attacked.
