Wow Astro Calendar Serial Number

Hello all, first time poster here. New to the sax, been learning for a few months now on alto, since each of my kids had left me their old YAS-23. Totally loving it, seeing progress, though it's slow..still, a ton of fun for me. Found an ad on craigslist for a used Yanagisawa tenor.. Unknown model.. Serial 576xxx. Asking price was a bit much, but he accepted my offer when I held firm.

Zodiac Pool Systems, Inc. Is a leading manufacturer of differentiated pool and spa products in the United States. Some days it’s the number fours displayed on a dashboard. Other days it’s a series of 1″s on clocks. Hardy walks in a Verizon store and sees the number 7 all over the store, because their selling the Ip phone 7.

• In case you construct more than one floor, prepare the first floor on Southwest. • The entrance of the house should idyllically be in the northeast, east or north direction. The height of first floor should not be more than the ground floor. The levels of open spaces should be higher in south and west sides and lower in north and east side. Also, ensure that there is no storeroom on the first floor. Vastu tips in malayalam pdf.

Low low end mouthpiece, but came in a wheeled roadcase which itself must have cost a couple bills. I did my research here and in other online fora, so I was prepared to be able to distinguish it between a T6 (which I assumed it was) or a T500 or even possibly a T800, or even a T4 or T5.. The pics in the ad were so bad, it was hard to tell. Well, it turns out there was a 5 stamped to the left of insignia, itself to the left of the serial. It was hard to see, except in the right light, but it was clearly a 5. I wasn't about to test it out myself..I had brought along my sax teacher, and he confirmed it was in great playing shape (it was used as a back up sax by the seller). And it had just been tuned up a couple weeks ago, so all was in fine working order.

I'll try to get some pics up soon.. Probably will be a few days. In all the research I did, it seemed no one had seen a T5 from later than 74 or 75. This one seems to be from 76, so those who speculated the T5 may have still been produced in the late 70s may be on to something..

But what do I know, a veritable newbie? Anyway, pics soon..

I have T4 with no high F#. Mine has the 4 near the serial number also no with no 'T'. It just looks scratched or 'engraved' on to the left of the stamped serial number.

Does it have Yanagisawa engraved on it or some other name like Astro or Artist, etc? It seems they used different stencil names for the different models also. The old Yanagisawa stuff is kind of hazy between models like they were changing little things on the fly like the linkages for the side B and C, post placements, and the cradles for the palm keys. I like these horns. I'd take one over any of the supposed 'high end' Asian horns and definitely over any Yamaha. Looks more like a T-50. The cradles on the left hand palm keys (the T5 has the posts) The bell-body brace attached at the side of the body, large ring (the T5 has the small ring.

Which is odd) The 'metal button' on the alternative F# (the T5 has the mother pearl button). The 'left pinky cluster' is 'simple' (the T5 has a cluster which is more articulated.) I can also spot a '0' after the '5'. No, sorry, there is no 0 after the 5.. The lacquer wear there is giving a false positive maybe, but no imprinted 0 like the imprinted 5.

Just not there. Not disputing anything else you say, just saying there wasn't a 0 there after the 5.

No manual is really needed but thought if one existed I would just store it. Most other manufacturer sites I have visited have PDF download files for their equipment. I cannot find anyhting on Astron's website, except their catalog.

Is this the correct site? What am I missing?

On further searching, I found a wealth of info here: Schematics and service information on Astron™ power supplies I have't used the supply yet to power my rig (have to make up a DC cable). I switched it on and just checked unloaded voltage with my DVM (13.78 volts as I recall) but the Astron meter was reading something like 13.5V. I'll recheck meter zero, which I think was good, and then adjust pot R104 inside, as necessary. Boot 98se download.

I also thought maybe my meter lights were burned out, as some have noted, but on further searching found that since my unit has a fixed power cord, it's likely older and never had meter illumination. Learning is fun. For $75 I thought it was worth it to take a chance « Last Edit: April 27, 2015, 06:19:22 AM by KC1BMD » Logged. KA5IPF: understood and appreciated! Astron sent me a manual in e-mail.

Not too much in there but you can never have too much info. They're also sending me a few ring terminals so I can solder to my 756ProIII generic DC power cable. I provided my serial number and they were able to tell me it was manufactured in May 1991 (serial: 9105xxx, so at least in the era, the serial format is yymmxxx). Wow, vintage! Now I'm hoping that older units were built better and this one will last me a good long while. « Last Edit: July 28, 2015, 05:10:01 AM by KC1BMD » Logged.
