The company I work for is still using Wind2 FMS ver 4.18 running on Windows XP as a standalone install version. I want to transition to Windows 7 32bit or 64bit, preferably 64bit but need to know if its possible to install Wind2 ver 4.18 on Windows 7. On this thread it appears that many of you were able to install it on Windows 7 but I didn't see which version of Wind2 you guys were referring to.

I haven't try installing it on XP mode and choose not to if installing on Windows 7 is possible. I did try to the step above and install.Net 1.1 first but was unsuccessful installing it.

I got an error about the 'Wind2 FMS require a newer version of MDAC' and refer me to MS KB Q216149 for special requirement to install MDAC on a Terminal server.
