Voigtlander Bessamatic Repair Manual

Voigtlander Vitessa T Manufactured around 1956, this 35mm camera is fitted with a 50mm f/2.8 Color-Skopar lens in a Synchro-Compur shutter. The film is advanced, and the shutter is cocked by pressing down on the pushrod visible on the top plate.The Vitessa T is closely related the folding 35mm rangefinder cameras, substituting a rigid front section for the barn-doors and bellows of the folding models.The exposure meter is uncoupled, but on the plus side, the camera does have interchangeable lenses. The mount is a variety of the Deckel mount, but is different from that chosen for the Voigtlander Bessamatic SLR series.The alternative lenses included a 35mm f3.4 Skoparet, a 100mm f/4.8 Dynaret, and a 135mm f/4 Super-Dyanaret.Here you can see a Voigtlander Kontur finder in the accessory shoe. The Kontur finder is very unusual, being opaque except for the frame lines. In use you have to have both eyes open, and the frame lines are seen superimposed on the visible field.
